Joshua Dunegan’s practice focuses on estate and business planning for individuals, including those with family-owned businesses, and probate administration. He began his career at a large, international law firm where he advised on corporate matters for clients, including large public companies. Joshua uses his unique background to wholistically represent clients in the estate planning process.
I have the privilege of being a native Houstonian. I attended Second Baptist School and followed the family tradition of attending Texas A&M University. From there, I pursued my dream of becoming a lawyer at Baylor Law School.
After law school, I began my career at Baker Botts in their Corporate Practice where I gained invaluable experience and knowledge. The allure of having a personal advisor relationship with my clients drove me to shift to the areas of estate and business planning. This led to my running my own law firm for several years. I joined Romano & Sumner, PLLC in 2025 to help lead their estate planning efforts and provide clients with an even higher level of service and sophistication.
Estate Planning can seem complicated and daunting. My goal is to help people navigate the legal process and come out the other side confident and knowledgeable. If you would like to discuss your legal matter with me or anyone at Romano & Sumner, please do not hesitate to reach out.
