I think that people should have an opportunity to get to know an attorney before they hire one. My name is Paul Albert Romano. “Albert” comes from my father, Albert Romano, who was an Optometrist in Houston, Texas for over fifty years. Dad is 81 years old now and retired from the eye business, but he is still my role model and inspiration. I am his only child, and I feel an obligation to carry on his legacy in an honorable manner.
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I grew up in a part of Houston called Memorial, and I went to the Kinkaid School from first grade until I graduated from high school. After high school, I attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas where I received a degree in business finance.
After graduating from college I had dreams of becoming a lawyer some day; however, I felt I needed to see the world first. So, I joined the United States Army. In the Army I was stationed in Germany, Korea, Honduras and various army installations in the United States. I started out as an enlisted soldier in the intelligence corp, but I was accepted to officer candidate school in my second year and became a military intelligence officer. As much as I enjoyed the service, I still longed to practice law some day.
After five years in the Army I left to fulfill my dream of becoming an attorney at the University of Texas School of Law. In 2002 I graduated and received my license to practice law.
I began my career as an attorney in Victoria, Texas where I learned from some of the best lawyers I know while practicing at a local firm called Cole, Cole & Easley. In 2008 my father was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Although dad survived his cancer, I decided that it was time for me to move back home.
In September of 2009, I moved my practice to Sugar Land, Texas. My office is located at 4610 Sweetwater Blvd, Ste. 200 Sugar Land, Tx.
My practice focuses on estate litigation, trust litigation, contested guardianshps, probate and estate planning. I represent clients in Houston, Harris County and Sugar Land, Ft. Bend County. Fill out this contact form and get a free consultation.
