Meet The Attorneys

Mr. Romano specializes in trust and estate related litigation, including breach of fiduciary duty claims, will contests, trust contests and guardianship disputes. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Romano offers comprehensive estate and business planning services for high-net-worth individuals, including counseling on gift and estate tax strategies, business succession planning, and asset protection.

Kenny Sumner focuses his practice on estate and trust litigation: will contests, contested guardianships, trust disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. What drives him is helping people through some of the hardest moments a family can face.

Nick Noe joined Romano & Sumner in November of 2019. Nick was born and raised in Sugar Land. Nick attended the Franciscan University of Steubenville for his undergraduate degree.

Tzipora Simmons is a dedicated and detail-oriented attorney whose practice focuses on fiduciary litigation, guardianships, and probate administration.

May’s practice focuses on estate planning, helping individuals and families develop comprehensive plans for asset distribution, tax efficiency, and long-term financial security.

Nick’s practice focuses heavily on fiduciary litigation, helping clients to navigate complex legal disputes.

Courteney graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with two bachelor’s degrees. She then graduated from the University of Houston Law Center with her J.D.

Jonathan graduated from Texas A&M in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. After his graduation he stepped into a career in banking and spent eleven years as a residential mortgage lender.

Gus’ practice focuses on trust and estate planning, corporate structuring, commercial contracts, international tax planning, and income tax solutions.
