Gus graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting, finance and quantitative analysis, his Master of Business Administration in finance, and his Juris Doctorate. Gus has spent his career working mainly in the tax and estate planning areas for law firms and other companies such as Deloitte and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Gus is a member of both the Wisconsin Bar and Texas Bar.
