About Nick

After attending college in eastern Ohio, Nick couldn’t wait to return home to Sugar Land. He attended South Texas College of Law – Houston and competed in South Texas’ renowned Moot Court program. Nick graduated from South Texas in May of 2017 and was admitted to the bar in November of that same year. Nick focuses his practice on all types of fiduciary litigation, from estates and trusts to guardianship. Nick loves this practice area as it allows him to serve and assist individuals in one of the more trying times in their lives.

In Their Own Words:
Nicholas “Nick” Noe

I was blessed to be born and raised here in Sugar Land, Texas. I attended Commonwealth Elementary and Fort Settlement Middle School. For high school, I attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, and it changed my life. At Strake Jesuit, I learned to be a “Man for Others” and the meaning of the phrase “to whom much is given, much is expected.” Strake instilled in me a strong sense of gratitude and service that remains to this day.

When I left Strake, I did not know what I wanted to do with my life, but I knew that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. I earned a degree in Theology and English from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and after graduating, I joined the Strake Jesuit Alumni Service Corps for a one-year term.

In this program I taught a section of British Literature, helped develop the nascent Learning Resource Center (the center for students with learning differences), and assisted in the many student retreats hosted by the school. It was during this time that I realized that being a lawyer would allow me to combine my love for writing, research and teaching and my desire to serve others.

After my time in the Alumni Service Corps was over, I began my legal career at South Texas College of Law – Houston.  During my law school career, I married my wife Mary, and we now have two boys. After graduating, I began my career at a boutique probate litigation firm in Houston. I joined the Romano & Sumner family in November of 2019. At Romano & Sumner, we are here to serve you, and we are honored to be trusted with your legal matters. I look forward to meeting you.
