I believe that choosing an attorney is a personal decision, and that clients should have the opportunity to get to know the person behind the law degree before making that choice.

I was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, and this community has always felt like home to me. I attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, then went on to Rice University, and later earned my law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Although my legal education took me out of state, I always knew that I wanted to return to Texas to build my career and serve the community that raised me.

After law school, I worked with several personal injury firms in the Houston area. While that experience was valuable, I found myself drawn to a different kind of practice—one that involved more individualized issues, long-term family dynamics, and complex legal questions. That interest ultimately led me to estate litigation.

At Romano & Sumner, I have had the opportunity to focus on estate litigation and probate matters, and I have truly enjoyed the work. Estate litigation is rarely “one-size-fits-all.” Each case involves unique family circumstances, financial considerations, and legal challenges, and I value the opportunity to work closely with clients to help them navigate what are often difficult and emotional situations.

My practice today is centered on estate litigation and probate matters, and I take pride in providing thoughtful, detail-oriented representation tailored to each client’s specific situation and needs. I am grateful to practice law in the community where I grew up, and I strive to serve my clients with professionalism and integrity.
