Tzipora Simmons is a dedicated and detail-oriented attorney whose practice focuses on fiduciary litigation, guardianships, and probate administration. Licensed in both Texas and New York, she represents clients with clarity, precision, and a deep respect for the sensitive family dynamics often present in estate-related matters. Tzipora attended Hofstra University School of Law, graduating in May 2014. She began her legal career in Brooklyn, New York, practicing with Greenwald Weiss Attorneys at Law, LLC, and later in Manhattan with Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP. Her work included estate planning, estate administration, trust and estates litigation, and guardianship matters. She also has experience serving in many court-appointed roles, including Guardian Ad Litem in Surrogate’s Court proceedings and as a court evaluator, court-appointed counsel, and guardian in Supreme Court Article 81 guardianship cases. Drawing on her extensive New York fiduciary litigation background, Tzipora brings a strategic and vigilant approach to her Texas cases, enhancing her ability to navigate contested probate and guardianship disputes with confidence, discernment, and compassion.
As a native New Yorker, I began my legal career in Brooklyn, New York, practicing with Greenwald Weiss Attorneys at Law, LLC, and later in Manhattan with Greenfield Stein & Senior, LLP. My work included estate planning, estate administration, trust and estates litigation, and guardianship matters. Three years ago, I relocated to Houston, and now proudly call Texas my home. Sure, I say “y’all” like I mean it—but the second I order “cawfee,” my inner New Yorker stages a full-blown comeback tour.
My background in complex New York Surrogate’s Court and Article 81 litigation has given me a strong foundation for my Texas practice, and I draw on that experience to navigate my cases with confidence and a strategic approach. My training as a life coach also informs the way I support clients with respect and understanding.
Outside the office, I take pride in being a wife to a Brit, and mother to 2 beautiful girls. I love all things music and enjoy attending concerts and broadway productions. My unapologetic Jewish wit and practice drive my commitment to community and keeps me rooted in empathy, openness, and intention.
